Our Staff
We have 13 foresters on our staff with combined experience of
nearly 200 years. No other firm can come close to this level
of expertise. With such a large source of knowledge you can be
assured that we are prepared to face almost any forestry related
challenge. At

their own woodlands. Our foresters know what it is
like
to be a forest owner. We have cared for and
sustainably
managed hundreds of thousands of acres of forests during
the
past 100 years.
Our Timberland
We are committed to sustainable forestry. We own tens of thousands of acres of
timberland throughout New York and Pennsylvania. Using the latest
science based technologies,
as well as time-tested methods of land care,
we are able to successfully preserve the
natural beauty and ecosystems of our
forests. While under our care, our timberland have been harvested many
times yet still maintain the original clean water, flora, fauna and
view
sheds we love and cherish. We are proud of our accomplishments and look
forward
to the challenges of continued forest stewardship.
Stewardship and
forest management plans We can provide general assistance in meeting your goals and
objectives for forest ownership. This would include, but is not
limited to, a scientific based approach to the management of
your water, wildlife and wood. Our harvesters are trained in stewardship and the use of best
management practices, and attend the New York Logger Training
Program and the Sustainable Forestry Logger Training to ensure
environmentally
responsible methods.
Timberland
Acquisitions We are constantly pursuing promising
Hard Maple, Red Maple, Black Cherry, Red and White Oak,
Ash, Basswood, Black Walnut and Poplar timberland. Each property purchased

becomes a living legacy of your family name.

Timber Harvesting Our foresters will meet with you to
