Ash is a tough and heavy hardwood with coarse grain patterns, nearly white sapwood and light to tan heartwood. Our Northern Appalachian Ash lumber has lighter colors,
tight growth rings and is well manufactured. We saw thicknesses from 4/4" to 12/4" and sort some upper
grades by width. Please browse our partial stock list or contact a Gutchess representative for a prompt quote.

Ash is a tough and heavy hardwood. It machines well
and accepts nails, screws and fasteners with ease.
It can be stained and polished to a fantastic finish.
It dries easily with little shrinkage or degrade.
